Rally to Support UN Vote to End the US Blockade vs. Cuba!

Sat. Oct. 19, 1:30pm, in Mitchell Park (near the Domes) in the parking lot close to 27th Street 

The rally will be videoed and shared worldwide.

Also, beforehand join Peace Action’s weekly Stand for Peace, 12-1pm, nearby at 27th St. & National Ave., dedicated to “Support Cuba & the UN: End the US Blockade”

US policy towards Cuba will be up for a debate and vote for the 33rd year (calling for an end to the economic blockade) in the UN General Assembly on Oct. 29 and 30, 2024. An online international campaign to support this vote has requested supportive groups to make a video to highlight the UN vote and opposition to blockade, which will be included in a “24-hour online picket.”  Peace Action WI’s weekly Stand for Peace will have an “End the Blockade” theme on Oct. 19th, 12-1pm, at 27th and National Avenue.
